Where we work

One page per place. Each one is written around the housing, the installations and the faults we actually meet there — nothing generic.

Jacksonville Beach · 32250

Jacksonville Beach 32250: columns, ovens and retrofit kitchens

Our home ZIP. An older beach core where modern built-ins were fitted into cabinets that never expected them, a short block count to the Atlantic, and a hard storm season.

1st through 5th Street core · Blocks east of Third Street · Beach Boulevard approach

South Jacksonville Beach · 32250

South Jacksonville Beach 32250: matched packages, tight hoods

The newer end of 32250, where whole matched built-in packages went in at once — and now reach the same age at the same time.

South Jacksonville Beach · Blocks south of Beach Boulevard · Third Street South corridor

Isle of Palms · 32233

Isle of Palms: wine columns, storm boards and waterway damp

The Intracoastal side of 32233. Less direct surf spray, a standing humidity load that never really drops, and dock-side outdoor equipment that lives outdoors year round.

Isle of Palms · Waterway-side lots · Atlantic Boulevard approach

Neptune Beach · 32266

Neptune Beach 32266: ovens, columns and a short walk to salt

A small ocean-side town on compact lots, where almost every kitchen is a short walk from the Atlantic and access planning decides how long a job takes.

Ocean-side blocks · Penman Road corridor · Atlantic Boulevard approach

Atlantic Beach · 32233

Atlantic Beach 32233: hood blowers, columns and salt

ZIP 32233, from the ocean-side blocks to the Mayport Road corridor — two quite different exposure profiles, and a wide span of housing ages behind them.

The same book in every one

What does a repair cost in these towns?

One table for the whole coast. There is no ocean-block loading and no travel charge between these ZIPs — the address changes what fails, not what it costs to put right.

Repair price bands, parts and labour, fitted
What was actually wrong Parts and labour, fitted
The visit and the diagnosis $80 flat
Igniter, spark module or surface element $190–$500
Oven thermostat or temperature sensor $190–$520
Bake or broil element $190–$590
Convection fan or motor $260–$690
Control board or touch panel $420–$1,020
Door hinge, glass or seal $190–$640
Refrigeration column sealed system $870–$2,290

The $80 buys the visit and the diagnostic sequence, and it comes off the bill the moment you approve the work. Every row below is a range because what a part costs turns on which production revision is sitting in your cabinetry, and nobody knows that until the rating plate has been read.

When is it cheaper to replace it?

Replacement cost of comparable equipment, appliance only
Buying the equivalent instead Appliance only
Wall oven, the usual repair-or-replace comparison $4,200–$9,500
Professional rangetop or range $5,500–$14,500

A comparable Thermador wall oven, rangetop or column, appliance only — before delivery, installation or cabinetry. National appliance pricing, not Florida labour.

Asked before booking

Which ZIPs do you actually cover?

Jacksonville Beach 32250, Atlantic Beach 32233, Neptune Beach 32266, and the Duval County coast either side of them. We are a mobile operation with no walk-in counter, which is why no shop address is published anywhere on this site.

Is the work priced differently street by street?

No. The flat diagnostic and the bands below are the same whichever of these places you are in. What changes from one page to the next is what tends to fail there and how long a job takes to get into and out of the kitchen — not the figure at the end of it.

Why write a separate page for towns this close together?

Because they are not the same call. The older beach core is a retrofit problem, the south end is a matched package ageing together, the waterway side trades salt spray for standing humidity. A page that could have been written about any of them would be useless on all of them.

What owners said after the visit

4.2 out of 5, across 74 customer reviews. What is printed below is one kitchen, one call and one invoice at a time, set down by the owner who settled it.

  • The column door had dropped just enough to stop sealing at the top corner. He shimmed the hinge, replaced the seal and set the closing force. Right again, although the seal meant a second visit.

    Leander C.

  • The door glass had fogged between the panes and the right hinge had gone lazy. He replaced both hinges and the inner glass. Tidy job. He needed a second trip because one hinge arrived damaged.

    Augustin L.

  • Our lights dimmed whenever the fan came on. He traced it to a corroded connector block inside the canopy and replaced the block entire. Good result. The visit ran long and I had to wait around for it.

    Ambrose F.
